Important Information – PLEASE READ
Great News! Salon Massimo is excited to announce that we will be reopening our doors as of Monday, June 22, 2020. Please note, as a result of directives established by Health & Safety Ontario, the following changes have been implemented:
- Only clients with a scheduled appointment will be allowed entry into the salon.
- Upon entering the salon, each client will be screened (questionnaire and temperature check).
- Clients will be spaced 6 feet apart during their stay and must maintain social distancing requirements.
- Staff members will only be servicing one client at a time and wearing proper PPE.
- Time will be blocked between appointments to allow for disinfecting and cleaning.
We understand the excitement and urgency for wanting an immediate appointment. However, as a result of the ongoing requirement for social distancing, reduced availability in scheduling and staffing, we ask for your continued patience, as we will work as hard as possible to service all clients. Our commitment to service excellence continues to be our top priority during these changing times. First appointments will be offered to those clients whose appointments were cancelled from March 16, 2020 to date. At this time, we are unable to accommodate standing appointments. All other clients will be booked on a first come first served basis.
THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES MUST BE FOLLOWED:
- If you are feeling sick, showing signs of being sick, or running a fever PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE SALON, and advise us promptly that you will not be able to keep your appointment.
- On the day of your appointment please wait outside of the salon or in your vehicle until a salon representative is ready to service you. You will be notified by phone to enter the salon. The waiting area is temporarily not available.
- Please attend your visit alone (If you are bringing a child for an appointment, only the child will have access to the salon).
- Please ensure you are wearing a mask before entering the salon. If you do not have a mask, masks will be available for purchase, a $2.00 charge will be added to your bill.
- Once you have entered the salon please immediately sanitize your hands at the sanitation station.
- Please enter the salon with only your personal device, method of payment and if you choose to bring a beverage that is fine, however, you must take it with you when you leave, even if it is garbage.
- During this time we will not be offering any beverages, magazines nor will you be able to charge your phone.
- We encourage cashless payment and will not be able to provide gratuity cash back from credit or debit payments.
- We will be accepting gratuities via e-transfer or the gratuity may be placed in the glass jar available on your stylist’s station.
- We require 48hrs minimum notice of any cancellation. Cancelled appointments with less than 48 hrs. notice will be charged at 50% of the booked service(s). This is a direct result of the salon’s capacity reduction due to social distancing which leaves us with less availability to services our clients. As a result, you can appreciate that every available moment is as important to our staff as it is to you.
- Please note a COVID-19 service fee of $5.00 will be added to each of your visits.
- Discussions are limited to your consultation only. Talking during the shampoo process is forbidden by both stylist and client (note a towel will be placed over the client’s face during the shampoo process). All other discussions are to be held to a minimum.

- Blow Drys
- Hair and scalp treatments
